Visiting Your Doctor

A booklet that describes all of the tests a corneal specialist might perform on your cornea & eye. It explains each test procedure, what the typical results are and what they mean. Great primer to act really smart with your doc! There’s also a section on questions you may wish to ask during an initial specialist’s interview and a very nice chart in the back of Visiting that you can use to track your test results from each visit.

This booklet is also available on separate selection in Spanish.

Journeys with Fuchs’ Corneal Dystrophy

This booklet has ten personal stories covering everything from Full Corneal Transplant (PK), through the DSAEK partial transplant and also DMEK, the latest, most thin, partial transplant. There’s 48 pages between the covers with not only stories, but a sample glossary BEFORE the stories so you can understand the acronyms within the stories. These are stories of success in restoring good vision and are meant to be inspirational, while at the same time, helping you to understand the entire process from bad vision, to diagnosis, through pre operative, surgery, immediate postoperative and beyond to success.
